Battery information

Waste batteries must be collected separately and must not be disposed of with unsorted household waste. Dealer take-back obligations depend on the battery category and the batteries offered. Applicable rules include Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 and the German BattDG. Damaged lithium batteries require special handling and may be subject to dangerous-goods transport rules.
